Check with Studebaker vendors.com as there are several people that sell the Pertronix conversion kits. Cathcart's Studebaker and Dave Thiebeault also come to mind as they specialize in Studebaker high performance parts. Bud

Many purchase a Pertronix unit that fits inside the original distributor and costs about $95. However, I am not certain if there is one available for the 1963 6 cyl. Pertronix has a website and I believe they list the available applications.

I just looked at Pertronix.com and they want $185.08! It may be less expensive through a vendor. Here is the page I found for a model # IAT 4010 Autolite/Prestolite distributor: http://www.shopatron.com/products/pr...4.26485.0.0.0?
You may want to confirm that your distributor matches this part number.

I have a 63 Champ 6 Cyl and want to replace the points with an Electonic Ignition. Any suggestions or recommendations?
