I have question on where is the VIN located on my 1951 Champion 2 door coupe. The title shows it as a Starlite Coupe but I believe it to be a regular coupe. mitch

So educate me here. What is the difference in a "regular" coupe and a "starlight" coupe? As far as I know...there is a three passenger(aka business coupe) and a 5 passenger coupe known as a Starlight coupe. Don't know about a "regular" coupe.

Many people used to call a 2 door car a coupe even if it did not have a short passenger compartment.
"In the heart of Arkansas."
1952 Champion Starlight w/overdrive. Searcy, Arkansas

Okay, alright I made a mistake by calling it a coupe. I meant to say sedan. I'm in the process of getting it ready to sell and I noticed on title it stated it to be Starlite as Model The Starlites that I've seen have rear windows that wrap around the top of rear quarters. I'm probably out of luck far as VIN as there is nothing at both locations that you mentioned Brad , thanks for input mitch

You are correct, Starlites have a wrap around rear window.
