You surprise me Jeff. This is a common street rodder modification. This particular low stance is known as being " in the weeds". Very cool in some circles.

The way the cars in the foreground are buried makes me wonder if the site is close to a large stream or river. I could see a flood event swirling sand around and depositing it in and around the cars. If you notice, the cars in the background aren't buried but appear to be at a higher elevation. This reminds me of 1995 when the Missouri River flooded numerous bottomland areas and scoured out holes up to 80 feet deep and deposited sand 5-8 feet deep in other areas. The best part was where it cut through a ridge where a cemetary was located and sent coffins floating down river. Some of those folks showed up 75 miles downstream!
