Replacing Enblem on 56 Commander

I am taking 4 front fenders and making 2. one side I have holes for the Commander emblem the other side I don't. How do I drill square holes to put the emblem on the other side? Any body have a square drill?

What about drilling a round hole, that would fit inside the original square ones, then taking a square punch, and making it square?

If I'm thinking corectly the holes are more rectangular then square. I would drill a small hole like was siad and then use a very small square file to create the shape. Just take your time and check often.
