  • Glue Removel Under The Roof

    I have all the insulation off under the roof. But the glue is still there. Should I try to take it all off or try to seal it. I would hate to ruin a good headliner.

    Personally, I'd remove it to get a clean surface to reglue.

      That original glue should be pretty dry. I sand it off with 80 grit on a DA. Paint the roof and install better modern insulation.

        I used a putty knife and then a wire cup brush on mine. Oh yeah, definitly a dust mask and safety glasses.
        SAFETY FIRST. Then Primer.
