  • Engine Numbers

    The engine I have in my 1962 Hawk is numbered P104570. I am curious as to what it came from, but I can't seem to find that serial number in any references I have. I know someone can help me!!??[:I]

    I believe that is a 1963 model year 289 cubic inch V8 from a Lark, Cruiser or Hawk.

        Gary and Skip;

        The older I get the dumber I get!![:I] I looked at that page Skip, but it didn't register with me that the list showed only the beginning number of that year's run![:I]

        Apparently, my engine was the 10,969th engine of the 1963 run.

        Thanks again guys.
