  • Fog Light Bulbs

I am looking for 12V fog light bulbs to fit in the Standard Studebaker Accessory Fog lights on my 53 commander hardtop. My car has been converted to 12v but the existing fog light bulbs are 6v. I would prefer not to use a "voltage Drop". Anyone know where 12V yellow fog light bulbs can be obtained to fit?
    thanks

You can get the bulbs from Unity. See www.unityusa.com and click on Antique Vehicle lights. You can also find them listed on the "Online Shopping" pages. They have both 5" and 6" diameter road lamps and bulbs in amber or clear, 6 volt or 12 volt. For Studebakers which used road lamps mounted on brackets on the bumper mounts, like my M5 truck, Unity still makes the complete lamp assemblies and mounting brackets. They even have the little red "S" logos to go on top. Ditto for spot lights.

Besides the good source Gary pointed out, you might try Speedway Motors... They have bulbs, as well as conversion kits for the old silver reflector type lights...

( I know these two are high/low, but they might be able to be adapted)
      and the conversion kit:

      Hope the info helps...

I just spoke to unity. They were indeed helpful and can take care of me.

          thanks again.
