I am restoring a 1960 lark and i am having trouble with brake light operation. Where is the brake light switch or sending unit.

Look down over the drivers side inner fender. There should be a brass distributor bolted to the frame, where the system splits to the front and rear wheels. OR
Look under the drivers side floor pan where the Master Cylinder is located. Follow the output line.... You'll find it

Adddendum in case you didn't know: the brake light switch is activated by hydraulic pressure, and is therefore plugged into the brake line. Unlike today's cars, it is not activated by the brake pedal.

Depending on the nature of the problem it should be noted, the brake lights are wired through the turn signal switch. Often, the problem is there.
