1966 Auto Trans pressure cable linkage

I have swapped out a 2 bbl. carb for an Edelbrock 4bbl. on my V-8 auto trans 66 Daytona and have not been able to coordinate the throttle linkage with the pressure cable for the transmission. Either it does push, or I haven't got any travel. Not sure what the linkage originally looked like as it wasn't ever part of what I got. (swapped out V-8 stuff from a parts car)
Anyone had this dilema before me?

Got it! Patience pays off. I went back and tried again and got the angle perfect after the third attempt.
I welded a bracket on to an adapter
