  • Crankshaft Pulley

I am adding PS and PB to my 232 cid V-8 in my '53 Commander and need to add a double or triple groove set of pulleys. Anyone know how/who I can get one?

The factory solution was to add a second pulley and a spacer to the first pulley. It also required longer bolts on the harmonic balancer, and a longer crank bolt. These are not particularly rare, and come up on eBay pretty often. I think I may even have a couple laying around here somewhere. I'm sure Tom Karkowitz has some.

yup, the pulley for the P/S is the same as the water pump pulley. Only one that is hard to find is the *third* pulley for A/C which has a slightly wider groove, but I've heard tell of people using another WP/PS pulley and just letting the belt ride high.

For some reason, whenever anyone strips the A/C off a parts car, they always forget to grab the crank pulley...
