Anybody know where the capilary tube from the control valve should be fastened? The tube on mine was just kind of coiled up and stuffed under the dash. It has a bracket on it so it must fasten somewhere.

On my avanti it fits in a hole in the heater air box. Look for a grommet somwhere on the air box and just stick it in.

Don't know what car you have, that might make a difference. On my 50 Champion, it is just coiled up under the dash.

Guess I should have mentioned, it's a 54 Land Cruiser. The tube has a mounting tab with a screw hole near the end.Comment

The tab with the screw hole is screwed to the firewall liner below or forward of the Glove box.
Anywhere, nowhere specific.
