M5 rear window install...help!!

Working on a 1946 M5...The window was out already..I bought a new seal for the rear window...now does the window go in the seal first?Does the seal go in the truck first?...Which way does the seal face?
any pictures wil be gerat...or hand drawn diagram....

Glass in gasket first, then glass and gasket into the opening. From the inside of the cab. Do a search of the forum for windshield or glass installation. There have been several in the last month or two that will explain in more detail, especially with regards to sealing. That B/G install is an easy job. Shout back if you need more help.

My Classic Car insatlled a rear glass in a pick up on Monday or Tuesday, on Speed. Sometimes they repeat the same shows on the
weekend. Was well worth watching.

The Shop Manual details the procedure. If you don't have one it's well worth the investment. $20 for a new hard copy; sometimes cheaper on Ebay, sometimes not.
