  • OD cable

I got the overdrive cable loosened up, lubricated and connected to the OD lever on the tranny. The cable was loose and unattached when I got the car and I've been looking (actually feeling around in the dark) for whatever holds the cable to the tranny. I know what most fixtures are like when a cable is held in a fixed position but can't locate or feel anything that fits the description. Does anyone know where the cable keeper is supposed to be located at? Under an existing bolt or does it have it's own bolt? I'm hoping it's not lost but just out of sight somewhere.

well it looks like I'll be fabricating my own parts! Oh well, what's new, can't be any harder than the heat riser valve I was going to make. Thanks for the info hotwheels, I really appreciate it!

What about the cable/handle? Are these readily available for a 60 Lark?
