I thought i saw where someone was reproducing the engine turned aluminum on early Hawk dashes. Was i dreaming? or is a replacement available?

I think Phantom has the Speedster overlay, not sure if anyone is doing regular 56-61 Hawk dashes

I spoke with Phantom at York about making new overlays. They were semi-serious and asked the correct questions. However, I think that if they do go ahead with it, the finished product might be a bit too expensive for the average Studebaker owner. On the Speedster it is a flat piece, or at least their's is. On a Hawk you have a rolled edge and they might have to make two styles. Full Hawk dash, One without vacuum guage. Plus they would need to make a matching glove box door. I would love to get a new overlay. Mine was NOS 23 years ago and now looks 23 years old.

actually if they do it they should make it without the vacuum gauge or clock holes and just let people cut them if required.
