    It has a wing nut. I'm assuming it is an oil bath, although they are probably both the same.

      It's a wing nut- but it is stamped sheet-metal, with an integral washer, not cast. These are somewhat hard to find these days.
      I'm pretty sure it's 1/4"x-20 thread.
