62 hawk front and rear track width ? drum to drum

  • #2
Actually I think it's closer to 57 inches (outside of drum to drum), at least on a '62 Hawk. I just happened to be measuring it yesterday. I won't say that's 100% accurate because I was stomping around through 15" of snow. The reason I was measuring because I wanted to see how a chrysler compared....not even close, it was 62".

Shop manual says: Front 57 3/8 in. Rear 56 9/16 in.
      Listed under 'Front Suspension'.

Dave...are you looking for the track or the drum to drum distance, or both?

I am running a 8 3/4 rearend on my 51 from a 69 Dodge Dart. I don't know if there is a different width on the 53 compared to the 51
