Wheels / Tires: 1952 Studebaker Commander LANDCRUISER Wheel Cover Problems

I’m puzzled (as usual)….the wheel covers don’t even come close to staying on the car. I have original rims and I grit blasted and painted them prior to installing these eBay wheel covers. They don’t stay on. Any ideas?

After 70 years the mounting tabs on the wheelcovers tend to get bent inward. Take a pair of pliers and bend the tabs outward a bit so they grip the wheels tighter.
