Rear Axle: what do the numbers mearn?

I have just picked up a dana 44 that I will try and fit into my 60 lark. The rear end ring gear has these numbers on it: 5 16 62 DANA 18426 A3D33 43 13. The only thing I know is the meaning of the last 4 numbers, 43 and 13 which means it is a 3.307. I would like to know what the rest of the numbers mean!! Any ideas?

43 13 divides out to 3.307, but we call it a 3:31:1 ratio. The "5 16 62" might be a date code. If that is the case it would appear that it was manufactured on May 16, 1962.
