Electrical: 1963 Avanti Courtesy Lights?

The left and right Dome/Courtesy lights don't light with the door switches, the one over the consul does. They both work with the switches on the light housing. Any ideas? Also is there a good printable wiring diagram out there, the one I print from my shop manual cd is very small and hard to read. Thank you

That is how they are supposed to work. Only the one in the dash comes on with the door switch. The rears are on only by their slide switches.

Well, I be pooped! Learn something new every day, all the cars I have had over my 75 years on the planet and that is a bunch, all the interior lights to the best I can remember came on when you opened the doors. Thanks a bunch for your response.

Go to an old Mitchell book, the have the best diagrams.

Have any of you Avanti owners ever wired the back dome lights to the door switches to operate with the front? Thanks
