I know there has been a lot of talk about puting in a saginaw in place of a ross but I can't seam to find one on putting one in a 51. I think I have found one and would like to do if possible. I am a tool & die maker and have access to equipment .

Need more information as to which box you want to put in, 525, 605 or Delphi. Power or not. Which way the pitman arm has to move etc.

It makes a big difference WHICH Saginaw, as Allen said. I would not use another make, I would use a '52 Studebaker Commander Saginaw manual box, with the correct reach rod, it should bolt right in! [^]
