    i need to know if and what the tourqe lbs should be on a 63 289 on the crank shaft brackets that hold the crank to the block.

        88 to 93 Ft. Lbs. Torque on the Main Bearings Ryan.

          The center caps can be broken by improper bolt tightening. Be sure you start them nice and square to the block, not lop-sided, and turn the bolts a little at a time as you alternate from one to the other.
