So back in the March 2010 issue of TW are excellent facts written by Bob Palma and Jim Pepper concerning all things linkage involved within these cars. Information not previously available anywhere else. Even if your ride is without "issues" check this out..........the cars are not getting any younger, and the parts are not growing any stronger. Pages 27 through 29.

I first thought you were referring to shift linkage, but that is a great article about clutch linkage.
