  • Electrical: 62 GT Hawk Tach wiring

I have been looking for a tach wiring schematic for a 62 GT Hawk. It is not in the shop manual in the accessory section. The sender is a one year only item and different that the 63/64 flat can type. It has 4 wires. A red, green, black, and two whites. One white plugs into the side of the box where the terminals are marked for 6 or 8 cylinder. I am assuming that is the trigger from the - side of thew coil. The short black is an obvious ground to a mounting screw. Can anyone help? I've included a few pictures of the sender.

So.....if I'm 'pre-approved' why do you want me to fill out an application?

Thanks guys. This is what I was looking for. It is strange though that there is not a trigger wire to the negative side of the coil. Thanks again.

A Ford friend once told me his Sprints' tach signal wire connected to coil pos. term instead of the dist. term.
