  • Electrical: 50 headlight switch

Got this switch was supposedto be "NOS" . My question is there's no rod in it are these supposed be removable? Can I install old one?

The switch comes without the knob. Take your old knob and place it in the new switch, after the switch is installed in the dash.

To get the old knob out of the old switch, look underneath. There is a tiny hole in the switch that you can stick a paper clip into. While pressing the paper clip into the hole, you can pull the knob and rod out of the switch.

Make sure you disconnect the battery first.

Also, the old wiring is usually brittle, so don't bend and twist it or the insulation will crumble.
