  • Engine: Hawk 4-speed reverse light switch bracket replacement

Hi all. I have been unsuccessful in locating a 1553199. That is the bracket that holds the reverse light switch to the T10 in a '61 Hawk. Can anyone provide me photos of the switch in place on the trans so I may fabricate the bracket?
    Thanks.

not sure but maybe a bracket from another make would work. T-10's where used by almost every car company.

Here are two pictures, both from my '64 Daytona 4-speed. First two are prior to disassembling the transmission, showing the switch and bracket in place. The third picture is after the rebuild, with the reverse switch bracket in place, but the switch not installed.

That would be a fairly easy bracket to build if you had one to copy or a good pattern.

So nice to have pictures to answer a missing-part question like this. An example why this forum is so helpful.
