  • Gastonia NC Studebaker Dealiership

I found out that my Dad bought a 55 Comander Preasdent in 1955[:I]. From his brother Kermit Thompson who was a salesman for G.G. Walker Motor Co. Anyone ever heard of this Studebaker Dealership?

Talked to dad. He told me G.G. Walker Motors was a Chrysler/Desoto dealer then. and he had bought the Commander from the Studebaker dealer on Franklin Ave. He didnt know the name.

Make a trip to the city library and look in the old phone books and city directories in the genelogy department. You may find the listing.

There was a dealer there (in Gastonia) by the name of Craig Motor Co. Inc.
