  • Body / Glass: 1949 Champion convertible top/canopy mechanism

    Hi everybody.

I have a convertible 1949 champion that I've been restoring for few months now, at the moment, the only missing parts are carpet installation and the installation of the soft top. I was wondering if someone knows where to find an exploded view drawing to find out if I am missing some parts and to figure out how the mechanism operates.

    Thanks in advance.

The body parts catalog and the chassis parts catalog show almost every part, where that part goes, and the correct part number.

Reprints are available from all of the major Studebaker vendors.

Personally, I cannot imagine attempting a restoration without both of them. We Studebaker fans are lucky to have the best parts catalogs in the business.

Thanks a lot RadioRoy. I'll need to get one of those then.
