since new ones are available now, I probably wouldn't bother. Just my opinion. I might have been tempted to have it welded and speedi-sleeved in the past but I know you can get a new one from Fairborn, Thibeault etc. and I don't like worrying about mechanical stuff.

If it still had a lot of restistance when you installed it, it will probably be ok. If not, I wouldn't risk it. If that thing flys appart at 7 grand, there'd be a lot of shrapnel flyin' around under, and possibly through the hood.[xx(] Just my observation.

Looking at my balancer prior to installing on the engine, I noticed a hairline crack probably from someone forcing it on crooked. The front seal didn't leak and no noises. I doubt its repairable??? Should I use it or get a new one?
