  • Body / Glass: Windscreen installing

started to fit the chrome moulds between the wiper spindles on my 61 Hawk, started to think I might be putting them on too early before the windshield is fitted , I’m using some sealer under the fixings, so don’t really have to take them back off in a hurry, do they have to be removed when fitting the windshield?

No. Just don't install the wiper arms to the pivots, or spindles as you call them.

Fine, just as long as you remember that the actual Windshield Stainless Mouldings go into the Rubber Seal BEFORE installing the Glass into the Body.

The "Belt Mouldings" really have nothing to do with the Windshield (Windscreen).

Thanks Rich, I thought the windshield mouldings might foul on the belt mouldings if not adjusted properly, they look like they go pretty close together, but doesn’t seem to be a problem
