  • Rear Axle: I need a part number for a Dana 44 Pinion Seal

I need a part number for a Pinion Seal for a Dana 44, so the local NAPA Store can interchange it. Might need a speedy sleeve number also, but won't know until I get it apart.
NAPA's computer has listings for Studebaker pinion seals as well as Jeep, but the listings do not identify what rear end their listed seal fits.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    John

I show #199379 and 199379X1 Not sure what the difference is between the two because they cross to each other.

Thank you! I'll check with NAPA to see if these numbers work in their system.

Here's the NAPA cross to it if anyone needs it: NOS 15788

Those original 179379X1 Seals always came with the Gasket to go behind the Seal, that has been "sorta" replaced by the Sealant on the outer edges of the New "Jeep" Seals.
