  • Engine Bay Dusting and Cleaning

    For folks who don't follow the High Performance site, here is a before and current progress pic of the engine bay cleanup of the '63 R2. We're getting close to being able to button her up as all the remaining pieces are detailed and ready for install.

    Oh yeah, did a little "tuning" while everything was apart.

        I'll get some pics of the factory covers before they go out to be rechromed. Just couldn't take the bubbly finish any more. Purists needn't worry. All the original factory bits, down to the bolts and nuts, are being kept and restored to as new condition. Nothing going on that can't be put back to original over a weekend thrash.
