  • master cylinder

I recently purchased a 41 studebaker champion 4 dr sedan. It has a 3 spd trans. The car has no rear brakes or even brake lines for that matter. I got underneath and checked out the master cylinder. The front brake line goes into the top of the cylinder. Now on the back are two holes i know one is for the rear brake line but what is the other for? a bleeder valve? Please someone shed some light on this.

I'm confused, what you are describing confuses me. A picture would help, but I thought both lines came off the back. Are you sure you are looking at the MC and not the hill holder ?
