  • Frame / Springs: Champ bell housing mounts

Looking for the correct bellhousing mounts for my 1960 champ. It’s a 5e6, came with a flathead 6. It’s now running a 289 and a 3speed w/OD. Bellhousing mounts currently on it are from a c-cab. The engine and tranny are about 2” lower and 2” further toward the firewall. While I am updating front suspension I figured It’d probably be in my best interest to move everything back to where it came from. I’d be happy to get part numbers or if you have some you wanna get rid of. . . That’d work too.

    Thanks in advance

Zach, I sent you a Private Message via this forum.

EDIT: here are some pics of the rear bellhousing mounts that I have. Part numbers are 1692166, and 1692167. They are listed in the Parts Manuals as fitting 5E, 6E, 7E, and 8E model 7 and model 12, as well as 8E models 5 & 10.

If you are interested, please respond to the PM I sent you.

If you have the Original Engine Mount Brackets that BELONG in a 5E-6, those are quite rare, for not just a Flathead Six but a Commander "245" 6 Cyl. not a LOT of people would need them but SOMEONE May.

I believe the Casting Numbers on them would be like r1lark's; i.e. the SAME as the Part Number: 1692244 & 245.
