  • Paint: 2R Truck Interior Paint Color

Does anybody know the official shade of tan that was used on the door panels and glove box? I have seen it call light tan, shell ivory, shell gray, medium tan and others. Wondered if there was a real name or paint code.

Unfortunately, you have posted this to the wrong page of this forum. Might try again under Technical. And suggest you also post here:

The interior contrast colors did change to a lighter shade every couple years. The first color in 1949 was called Cuban Tan. Look at the body tag in the driver side foot well. It will give you an exterior paint code 'P- - - -' , and an interior trim code 'T - - - -'.
