I found a broken bolt from the steering bell crank. Can I replace the bold without lifting the engine out of the car?

Really nice pictures can be found in the chassis parts catalog and in the shop manual.
If you are working on a 60 Hawk, the whole assembly should be in plain view.RadioRoy, specializing in AM/FM conversions with auxiliary inputs for iPod/satellite/CD player. In the old car radio business since 1985.

Remember that if the '60 Hawk in question is Power Steering equipped, the Grade 9 "Bolt" is a "Screw"!
The P/S Bellcrank is threaded and needs no Nut. There could be non-repairable Damage to the Bellcrank.StudeRich

If you have to remove the bellcrank you will need to drop the pivot pin assembly by removing the four bolts and dropping it down thru the front crossmember, don't forget to remove the extra long grease fitting through the hole in the back of the crossmember first.Dan Peterson
