  • Other: Where to find manuals?

Does anyone have a factory engine manual for a 1940 President? One vendor online says I need the 1939 manual and a 1940 supplement.

Was that one of our Studebaker vendors? Or a generic literature vendor?
Reprints are available from Studebaker vendors.

That's correct. You need to buy a 1939 manual WITH 1940 supplement. Studebaker often did this instead of duplicating information in a new manual they issued a supplement which covered only the features that were new for the new model year.
So.....if I'm 'pre-approved' why do you want me to fill out an application?
