  • Interior: Seat rails

55 era seat rail restoration. Any tip, tricks suggestions? I'm thinking disassembly, cleaning and painting.
    Not designed for disassembly.

I do not disassemble them. I have had to make new "legs" for them as the sometimes get pretty rusty. They need to be welded. Just clean them up and Eastwood's silver-cad spray finish makes it look nice and it is probably close to original color. Don't make more work for yourself than you have to! Lubriplate.
