Looking to finally put in my rebuilt flat six into my Champ. Just wanted to check with you guys as to the best pick up points. Can I use the head bolts? And if so any ones in particular? Center/outside?

The "Balance Point" will depend on if you do the most common combination of: Engine, Bell Housing and Transmission or something else.

You basically have little choice, but to just use a Left and a Right Side, Front and Rear Head Bolt that balances the Combo or Non-Combo. The farther you screw the Bolts in, the less chance of bending them.

Rather than use your head bolts use some shorter ones 1 1/2 - 2 inch
