  • Interior: How to replace cigar lighter 62 lark ?

What is the best way to get at the back of the lighter to replace the fuse on a 62 lark. ????? Any thoughts???

Can't you just reach behind the dash and unscrew the Hex Nut Type Fuse?

OR, unscrew the Outer "Shell" on the back side to remove the whole thing to work on the Fuse.

Bob IIRC keeping your hand close to the firewall and then leaning toward the lighter helps. seems like you have to angle towards it. Luck Doofus

Funny? I've never had any problem getting to the back of the lighter in my '62 ; and I'm no ten year old (6ft, 240lbs, size 50 jacket). It is a bit more difficult with my AC unit installed though, it runs from the right door all the way to the E-brake handle.
