I believe there is a spray bomb Cad paint you can get to make the bolts look right.

Those were the recessed Head (ridge around the outside) sheet metal SCREWS with the slight fixed "built in washer" and yes a Cad looking plating.

Believe these were unpainted natural metal perhaps a thin cad or zinc coating but not paint.

What color are the bolts that mount the starter relay, voltage regulator, wire loom clips, as well as the clips themselves, etc.. on a 53 Starliner?
