Fuel pump... to buy new or to rebuild?

The fuel pump on my 52 leaks a lot where the diaphram? is between the the housing units? I looked online for a rebuild kit... to no avail... (granted I just looked at the big name parts stores) but I found I could get a new one from NAPA for $40+... so, any thoughts on if I should keep looking and rebuild or just buy the new?

If I buy new, any one need/want this old one?

I'd rebuild; I don't know about the ones for a '52 but the new ones for 55-64 have a bad rep. Try a Stude-specific vendor, or I would have said "the cellar" but their web site seems to be completely hosed.

There was a great string on here a few weeks back about new or rebuilts having the cam follower at the wrong angle. Check any new one against the original to make sure the lever is at the same angle?
