  • Drum Brake ??

When I let my 48 set for 3 or 4 days and back it out of the garage when I take off forward and hit the brakes they grab. It won't do it again untill it sets for 3 or 4 days and then the same thing. All new brakes.

Sounds like your brake cylinders are leaking fluid on the brake shoes.

My garage is in my basement and when it would set for a while it did the same thing. I put a dehumidifier in and problem was solved. High moisure was causing the brake drums to flash rust.

Thats where my garage is at in the basement and the carport is just about. Only 2 sides are open. But we have been in a draught for a year. I might try a humidifer it might even help my nose.
