  • Front axle swap '52 2r10

does anyone know if there is another front axle that will fit with no or little modification under a 2r10? I want to keep a straight axle but want to be able to put on disc brakes with the new axle, so ford or chev or custom would be what I need. the truck want original when I got it and is in rough shape but it runs and drives and I just want it as a driver fun truck.

If I remember correctly, a guy named Rick Courtier put 1/2 ton spindles on his 2E12 and used the Turner kit on his front axle.
I know because I got all the parts he removed.
