  • Front axle swap '52 2r10

does anyone know if there is another front axle that will fit with no or little modification under a 2r10? I want to keep a straight axle but want to be able to put on disc brakes with the new axle, so ford or chev or custom would be what I need. the truck want original when I got it and is in rough shape but it runs and drives and I just want it as a driver fun truck.

Just buy Jim Turner's kit, and they bolt on!

It appears you may need to join SDC to know where to get important Stude. parts and good info. plus Turning Wheels is the best car club publication out there! [^]

If I remember correctly, a guy named Rick Courtier put 1/2 ton spindles on his 2E12 and used the Turner kit on his front axle.
I know because I got all the parts he removed.
