Carefully pry up from one side at a time.

I find the best way is to use a flat "hook" seal puller placed between the back of the wiper arm mount edge and the body, with the hook lip under the back edge of the mount. Protect the cowl paint with a small stiff piece of cardboard (door panel stock). Pry upward and the arm will pop off. Be careful not to engage the actual wiper pivot head with the hook tip. These seal pullers have 2 different hooks, so use the one to give the best leverage. I hope my description makes sense to you. With this method, there is no risk to the paint or wiper arm. I'm not aware of a repacement motor. If it is not completely burnt, it can be repaired and some parts may possibly be swapped from other motors of the same manufacturer. I should clarify that the back edge that I refer to, is the edge opposite the wiper blade.
