hawk front suspension

Re previous post..
suppose I had tightened the inner bushes prior to lowering vehicle
( not admitting to anything) is there a way of resetting the bushes without removing the whole suspension or am I just dreaming?At present I had loosened the bush bolts and drove around ste speed hump park but have only lowered by 1/2".Still sitting at 29".
Any help would be appreciated.

I think all you have to do is jack the car back up, loosen the bolts, let the car down, and tighten the bolts. You let the car down before tightening the bolts to allow the suspension to assume its resting state. Then, when the bolts through the center of the bushings are tightened so the rubber in the bushings has to twist instead of the bushings turning freely on the shaft, the rubber can twist either way without moving a lot.
