Dave Mottle has the instruction sheet for that. You want AC-3033. It's marked Hawk, 1962-'64, but it also contains instructions for 1960-'61 Hawk.

I had a 62' Hawk w/ aux heater. The switch was mounted vertically, and under the right side of dash. Below the slide switch and to the left of P-brake handle....

Thanks Jack. My Hawk is a 60 and the dashes are a little different. I'll have to wait until the switch gets here. I felt behind the dash and there isn't much room there especially as the switch has that board attached with the built in fuse.

The switch for the aux heater in my 60 Hawk is located on the far left side of the dash. Not on the decorative aluminum insert, but on the painted fiberglass area to the left of the ignition. The switch is a regular toggle switch that looks identical to the headlight and instrument lights. My production order shows that my Hawk came with this option, so I have reason to believe that all the switches and locations are original.[8D]

Thanks StudHawk60 - That sounds like the ticket - would that be level with the headlight switch then?

I couldn't remember the EXACT location, so I had to wait until I got home from work. The switch for the aux heater is actually mounted lower than in line with the headlight switch. The best way to describe it is to look for a big screw on the under side of the dash on the far left side. It's a mounting bolt for the dash, you can't miss it, it's not very far under. My switch is mounted so it's centered directly over that screw. From centerline of that screw upwards to the centerline of the aux heater switch is exactly 1.6". I don't know how to post pics here, or I would.
