245 commander carb needed

Hello, I have a 53' 245 Commander. I have everything for it except a carb. I thought I had one, but it was for a Champion engine. I need a Carter BBR 1777SA that is a number I got out of a 58' manual, it should fit on a 53'

Not sure, I don't have any manuals for the M series trucks. I would imagine as long as the manifold was the same. maybe someone can shed some light.
