    There's no way to tell without looking at the truck. Several ratios were available, including 5.14, 5.83, 6.20, and 6.80. A two-speed axle was also available on the 2R-16A, with ratios likely to be 6.13 and 8.10. There may be a tag on the axle providing the number of teeth on the ring and pinion. If not, you're gonna hafta jack up a wheel and count revolutions.

    Differential ratio

    I have a 53 2R-16A and need to know the ratio of the differential. Could someone look in their book and tell me what it is. I am a long way from the truck right now and can not look at it to tell. Also does anyone know of an after market ring and pinion availabe for the truck. Thanks for your consideration.
