  • help with lark

    got the carb working so thanks to everyone for your help. But I have 1 question. The car runs great but every now and then when you go around corners it acts like it wants to die. Any ideas what it might be. The carb and fuelpump are newer rebuilts. And it has plenty of fuel.

    My first guess would be carb float level set too low.

        Or too high. (dumping gas) Adjust the floats by bending the arm to the correct setting as per the shop manual.

          You've gotta remove the top portion of the carb to adjust the float level, get a shop manual for your car, it will help answer many questions.
